"The Goddess of Water"
Lynn has been a featured soloist with the world-renowned stage shows Riverdance, Celtic Woman and Anuna and her career has brought her around the world countless times for over a decade. Upon earning an Honours Bachelor of Music Degree she immediately joined the cast of Riverdance after passing an open audition process to be the lead singer at the Opening Ceremony of the Special Olympics in Croke Park to a 85,000-strong crowd alongside U2, Bon Jovi, Nelson Mandela, Muhammed Ali and many others. As well as touring the United States and Europe with Riverdance she also features on their 10th Anniversary CD and DVD.
Lynn was a member of the renowned choir ‘Anuna’ and features as a soloist on many of their studio albums, including a solo on the soundtrack to the world famous game ‘Diablo 3’.
She was approach by the musical director of Celtic Woman to join the group in 2007 and with them has been around the world to such countries as Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, Europe, Canada and the United States and features on several of their commercial releases such as ‘Songs From The Heart’- a PBS Special, The Greatest Journey CD and DVD and the ‘Lullaby’ album. Recently, Lynn returned to Radio City Music Hall for the 5th time after performing there with Riverdance and Celtic Woman in previous years. She has also performed for such luminaries as President Barack Obama and his family and Bill Clinton as well as performing on many television shows including Dancing With The Stars and Good Morning America.
Lynn’s first solo album entitled ‘Take Me With You’ which was released on the EMI Manhattan label and her newest solo album; ‘Saturn Return’, showcase Lynn as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer.
Lynn has recorded and performed several works by the composer Colm Ó Foghlú including Mass of The Angels / Aifreann na nAingeal, Eoghainín na nÉan / Íosagáin and The Star of Bethlehem which was performed 2 years in a row at the National Concert Hal in Dublinl to a sell-out audience.
Lynn made her debut at Carnegie Hall in December, performing solo vocals in The Way Of The Rain – A Music, Art and Fim Experience, alongside Tim Janis, Loreena McKennitt, Al Gore, Sibylle Szaggars Redford and Robert Redford. She has performed in this show three times, also in the Salk Institute in San Diego and The Brushwood Centre in Chicago.
As a founding member of CaraNua, Lynn also acts as a songwriter, arranger and producer for the vocal harmony trio alongside colleagues Alex Sharpe and Lisa Nolan.
